1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Kalendar ("Service"), operated by Founding.dev ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
2. Description of Service
Kalendar is a free, open-source scheduling platform that allows users to create booking pages, manage event types, and integrate with calendar services. Our Service enables you to:
- Create and customize your personal booking page
- Define event types with various durations and settings
- Connect with Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook
- Receive and manage booking requests
- Send automated email notifications
- Apply custom branding to your booking pages
3. Account Registration
To use our Service, you must:
- Create an account using Google OAuth authentication
- Be at least 13 years of age
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access to your account
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
- Send spam, unsolicited messages, or malicious content
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure

5. Calendar Integration
By connecting your Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook account, you authorize us to:
- Access your calendar to check availability
- Create, modify, and delete calendar events on your behalf
- Read event details necessary for scheduling functions
You can revoke this access at any time through your Google or Microsoft account settings. Revoking access may limit the functionality of the Service.
6. User Content
You retain ownership of any content you create or upload to the Service, including event type descriptions, branding assets, and custom messages. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to use, display, and process this content solely to provide the Service.
You are solely responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.
7. Free Service
Kalendar is provided free of charge. While we strive to maintain continuous availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, features, and functionality, is owned by Founding.dev and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The Kalendar software is open source and available under its respective license.
"Kalendar," the Kalendar logo, and other marks are trademarks of Founding.dev. You may not use these marks without our prior written consent.
9. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FOUNDING.DEV AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST TWELVE MONTHS (WHICH, FOR A FREE SERVICE, IS ZERO).
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Founding.dev and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of third parties.
13. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease, and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Founding.dev operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Founding.dev regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements or communications.
